Jesse Willard Larrimore, Jr.

Jesse Willard Larrimore Jr., 67, died February 24, 2012 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
He was born in Savannah, son of the late Jesse W. Larrimore Sr. and Annie Rushing Larrimore. Mr. Larrimore was a 1964 graduate of Savannah High School and was employed as a maintenance mechanic/supervisor with American Cyanamid, Kemira, Kerr McGee and retired from Tronox after 38 years of service. He loved music, golf, woodworking and above all his grandkids. He was a member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church and the Sons of American Legion.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Irma Larrimore of Savannah; children, Kevin W. Larrimore Wende of St. Augustine, FL; Paije Welch Michael of Guyton ; sister, Connie Smart Vernon of Richmond Hill; grandchildren, Lindsey and Allie Larrimore and Hunter Welch; sister-in-law, Kay Grandgeorge David of Guyton; brothers-in-law, Dennis Lanier and Bob Lanier Rhonda of Savannah; numerous nieces, nephews; special golf partner, Leo Burnsed and Band of Gold Members, Rocky Evans, Elton Hoffman, Stanley Walls and Wallace Parr more like a band of brothers. Also surviving is Linda Larrimore of St. Augustine.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Week Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Remembrances: Hospice Savannah, Inc., Green House Project at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church and American Legion Post No. 135.
